THE PRODUCT STORY

WHY WE MADE IT

BreadSaw started with a simple problem: cutting crusty bread shouldn’t be hard on your hands and wrists. Peter — restaurant owner and product designer — wanted a better way to slice: one that felt more natural, comfortable and controlled. So he started experimenting with a familiar idea. The hand saw. You know the kind — the sturdy one Grandpa might have had hanging in his garage. The result is BreadSaw: a patented, ergonomic serrated knife with a hand-saw-inspired handle that can make slicing through a crusty loaf feel easier and far more comfortable.
